It's cold and it is raining in New York. Instead of making thousands of fans--not to mention the players--suffer through the conditions, today's game has been postponed.
This is a triple beatloaf sandwich for the D-Rays who have much warmer weather, and a roof back home. They've been in town for three days now and have 8 innings to show for it (Mo stole their 9th).
At least the Yanks can go home to their wives, kids, supermodel/actress girlfriends, whatever the case may be.

I imagine they did the Broadway thing yesterday, maybe a movie last night, and today is hardly optimum for sightseeing.

9 Weather.com (Weather Channel) predicts mostly cloudy and about 40 degrees in da Bronx at gametime tomorrow. No rain, but it will feel more like 32. Pettitte can handle the cold though.
Before the NY Marathon, the NY Times had an article on the latest research in muscle cramps. Pottasium and dehydration didn't seem to be the big factors. It seemed that some people are just predisposed to them because their brains are wired to tell their muscles to do the wrong thing under stress.
