Thanks for that link, Alex. It's not at all surprising Matsui is working hard toward coming back, but his determination as suggested by Abraham is encouraging.

This might be an unfair shot at Pavano, but I find it difficult to imagine him being as determined to return to the field.

Wow. Hard work? Extra effort? Pride? Players still have that? Maybe this is one of the reasons Americans are getting beat in the international events.

It was great to read this piece. I knew there was a reason why I felt confident in seeing Matsui in August.
